Assign Global Lock/Unlock Hardware

Assigning hardware allows you to assign/unassign readers individually to the Global

Lock and Global Unlock functions and assign Inputs as trigger points.

NOTE: Hardware configuration options become read-only if the system is in an active

Global Lock or Global Unlock state. This prevents a configuration change from being

made that may affect or confuse the current Global Lock/Unlock state. This read-only

state does not apply to other properties or configuration options for other features within

the program.

1. Click the Setup tab > Hardware Setup ribbon icon to perform hardware con-

figuration.

Enabling Global Lock/Unlock in PXL Controllers

For each PXL controller using Global Lock/Unlock, you must first enable the Global Lock-

/Unlock option. For each PXL controller in the hardware tree:

1. Locate the Options > Use System Global Lock/Unlock pull-down menu.

2. Set this option to True for each controller participating in Global Lock/Unlock com-

mands.
