Automation

Overview

The Local and Global linkage menus are by far the most powerful features of the Door-

s.NET software. They are toolboxes for installers to be able to add custom applications

for different scenarios without a need for any additional custom software. Think of it as a

whiteboard for determining any IF condition to create any WHEN condition. The WHEN

conditions can be referred to as procedures (in Local Linkage) and Macros (in Global

Linkage). The IF conditions can be referred to as triggers.

To use either of the automation features they need to be purchased and enabled on your

Doors.NET license.

These features provide methods to automatically perform macros (defined sets of

actions) whenever a defined trigger is met (defined set of conditions). Certain automation
